๐Ÿ“– Crossbreeding rules (checked in the game code)
  1. Only plants in the same planter within 1.5 m of the center count. In a large planter that's all 8 surrounding spots.
  2. Only the same plant species mixes (hemp with hemp). Dead plants don't count.
  3. The center plant changes once, at the moment it enters the Crossbreed stage, so plant the surrounding ones first.
  4. For each slot the neighbours' gene weights add up: green (G, Y, H) 0.6, red (W, X) 1.0. The heaviest wins if it beats the weight of the center's own gene.
  5. Ties are decided by planting order, so it's effectively luck. Results show this as 'depends on luck'.
